Job Description

Job Brief

The primary function is to perform advisory and assurance projects of Audit Services Group (ASG) focused on Information Technology risks. ASG is responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s systems of internal controls that guide company activities toward accomplishing key business objectives. 

Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Participate in planning, scoping and execution of risk-based IT assurance and advisory projects including SOX 404 controls testing in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ASG standards. 

  • Perform test of design and operating effectiveness of IT controls. 

  • Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of IT, operational and compliance processes and controls. 

  • Effectively communicate audit results to management. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop actions plans that address root cause of findings. 

  • Demonstrate and apply up-to-date knowledge in IT to the development, execution and improvement of audit programs and recommendations. 

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders, while maintaining independence and objectivity. 

  • Contribute to various department initiatives to streamline processes, improve stakeholder experience, and increase productivity. 

  • Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Project Lead and Manager. 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or other IT-related fields 

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT auditing, technology, information security, privacy or related areas 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is required 

  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including international travel (valid passport required) 

  • Demonstrated understanding of information systems and software (e.g., Enterprise Resource Planning, Human Capital Management, Data Extract, Transform & Load Tools)  

  • Experience with AuditBoard, Oracle, Workday is preferred  

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CISSP) are preferred  

  • Experience with cybersecurity is preferred but not required. Willing to be trained to Informational Security function.

  • Willingness to be trained in Information Security to broaden role responsibilities and technical skillset

  • Ability to be thorough and meticulous in completing assigned tasks and identifying errors, duplicates, & discrepancies through defined methods. (Attention to Detail) 

  • Ability to identify and resolve simple to moderate issues with the ability to provide resolution alternatives by following defined policies and procedures. (Problem Solving) 

Additional Information

  • Amenable for night shift schedule (9PM to 6AM, Manila Time)
  • RTO set-up: once a month, but if the business needs it, might be at least 2-4x per month.
