This position is responsible for supporting the Internal Audit Plan by leading the execution of technology and security audits and managing the execution of the internal ISO and SOC1 audits. This role will oversee a team of auditors, driving audit quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess IT risks, and champion modernization and automation of audit practices, while promoting a strong control environment.

We are looking for a Manager, Internal Audit (IT) who will:

  • Oversee the execution, to include risk assessment, control testing, deficiency management, external auditor coordination, and provide oversight over required regulatory, contractual, and compliance audits (SSAE18 SOC1, ISO 27001, IT SOX etc.)
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of concurrent risk-based IT audits and advisory engagements, including scoping, fieldwork, issue validation, reporting, quality assurance, and timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff, ensuring performance, engagement, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate and maintain working relationships with business partners, resolve challenges, and advocate for process improvements.
  • Contribute and influence strategic direction around annual planning, tool adoption, automation, risk assessments, and audit methodology.
  • Keep current on business and industry changes, audit approaches,  and risk trends.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required.
  • Professional certification required  (e.g. CIA, CISA, CISSP).
  • Strong knowledge of IT, Security, and Risk disciplines and practices.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive internal or external audit experience, including audit leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience in a global, or publicly traded company, strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing or executing IT and Technology Audit Plans.
  • Previous experience leading or executing Service Organization Reports (SOC1 & SOC2)
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate business processes and complex technology and security risks, including strong knowledge of control design.

Preferred 

  • Experience collaborating across global or matrix organizations.
  • Exposure to risk assessment, audit analytics, and audit modernization initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Strong knowledge of IT control frameworks and audit methodologies.
  • Strong project management acumen to manage complex projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, perform root cause analysis, and draw insights
  • Strong knowledge of the IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
  • Ability to use a personal computer. 
  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Audit technology.
  • Operational experience using data and analytics to enhance audit outcomes.
  • Ability to influence and drive changes in a cross-functional environment

Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$95,077.22-$152,123.54

This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
