Do you like video games? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to create your own and bring that video game to life? As an Information Systems Security Engineer within the Simulation, Training, and Solutions (STS) business area you will help develop and build simulators and training systems for both military and commercial customers. This role will give you an opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and bringing real world applications and tools to life that help support our warfighters. Devices range in complexity from desktop training all the way up to high fidelity weapon system and full-flight training systems including full visual, motion, and simulator interoperability.
There is a wide variety of work to be done, this role is far from repetitive, rarely doing the same work twice in one week. This role offers a casual work environment with flexibility in the schedule and an opportunity to travel as well as a great opportunity for career growth and development.

What You Will Do:
- Design, implement, and test security solutions using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
- Monitor and assess security posture, identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents effectively and efficiently.
- Secure development environments by implementing application security architecture and conducting evaluations of software for security compliance.
- Document security processes and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, testing and remediation.
- Experience in environments requiring compliance with frameworks such as STIGs, RMF, or NIST 800-53
- Experience creating and delivering A&A documentation.
- Experience maintaining cyber security documentation.
- Hold either a CISSP or Comptia Security + CE certification.
Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Fluent knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 security controls, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and DoD‑Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in systems administration.
- Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience remediating Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scan results.
- Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience configuring McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO) and/or McAfee Endpoint Security (McAfee ENS).
- Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience with Virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.

The salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 144,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
