Job Description
Avaya has multiple managed services customers and IT security is part of the delivery construct. This role is for a position of an IT security manager who will be part of the services delivery team and would work with the customer as well as Internal stakeholders to ensure that the deliverables are met .
As part of service delivery team, your responsibility is to ensure that Avaya deliverables with respect to security components met.
· Interacting with the Customer Security teams.
· Drive closure of all audits (internal or customer Security Audits) with minimum of NC ‘s.
· Work with internal and external technical teams to drive closure of any vulnerabilities, provide technical guidance if required. This includes O/S based cases right up to Applications hosted on these platforms.
· Ensure best practices are implemented across the platforms.
· Ensure that security-based SLAs are met.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in core information security as a team member/lead.
· Candidate should have worked in operational and/or consulting and/or auditing roles.
· Graduate in Science and/or Engineering preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Practical knowledge of application, database, operating system (Unix and windows), virtualization and network security.
o Design and review secure architecture as per client’s requirement.
o Ensure CIA of information at all levels
o Implement hardening standards at each level.
o Extensive knowledge of firewalls, UTMs, IPS, WAF and associated technologies.
o Integration of elements with SIEM and it’s management
o Management of anti-malware and data leakage prevention technologies
o Acts as expert in mitigation/closure of vulnerabilities in each system
o Exception management
Experience in implementation of security controls as per industry standard(s) such as ISO 27001, SOC2 and PCI DSS
o Ensure best practices are included in call center operations management.
o Prepare and implement processes in sync with standards and client’s requirements.
o Maintain documentation as per SoW
Management of internal and external security audits.
Experience in dealing with global customers
o Act as single point of contact for all security related matters.
o Interact proactively with clients
o Take approvals wherever necessary.
Experience in dealing with global operations team
o Should have capability to guide operations team for mitigation/closure of vulnerabilities in systems.
o Support teams in implementing security systems
Perform risk assessment and recommend/guide management for continual improvements in overall security stance of project.
Should possess skills to impart information security awareness.
Good communication skills.
Must have experience in handling various security tools for Vulnerability Assessment.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
· Postgraduate in Science and/or Engineering preferably in Computer Science / Information Technology
· Experience in telecom and/or call center domain(s).
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Certifications
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
o Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
o Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
o Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
The pay range for this opportunity is from 59,000 to 80,000 GBP + performance-related bonus + benefits. This range represents the anticipated low and high ends of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
