Enterprise Mobility Technical Lead
Job Description Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Mobility Technical Lead to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for our Microsoft Intune solution, supporting a user base of 6,000. This role will lead the implementation of the enterprise mobility capability roadmap, manage escalations to Microsoft and the customer's parent agency, and oversee the derived credential solution. The Technical Lead will manage a DevSecOps team of four Intune mobility engineers, providing both engineering and operational support while ensuring security vulnerability management and compliance. This position requires full-time on-site presence, five days a week, at our customer site in Arlington, VA.
Key Responsibilities
- Microsoft Intune Expertise: Serve as the primary SME for the Microsoft Intune platform, ensuring optimal configuration, performance, and scalability to support 6,000 users.
- Capability Roadmap Implementation: Lead the development and execution of the enterprise mobility capability roadmap, aligning with organizational objectives and technological advancements.
- Escalation Management: Act as the primary point of contact for escalations to Microsoft and the customer's parent agency, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective communication.
- Derived Credential Solution: Oversee the management and implementation of the derived credential solution, ensuring secure and seamless integration with enterprise systems.
- Team Leadership: Manage a DevSecOps team of four Intune mobility engineers, providing guidance on engineering, operational support, security vulnerability management, and compliance efforts.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure all mobility solutions adhere to security best practices, addressing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, customer stakeholders, and external partners to deliver robust mobility solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and incident resolutions, and provide regular updates to leadershp and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or 9 years total experience vs. 5 years).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune, including configuration, deployment, and management in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven experience leading DevSecOps teams and implementing enterprise mobility solutions.
- Hands-on experience with derived credential solutions and managing escalations with vendors and parent agencies.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, including device management, application management, and security policies.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, security vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Familiarity with derived credential solutions and mobile security best practices.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide engineers.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, vendors, and parent agencies.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage complex technical challenges under pressure.
- Location Requirement: Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week at the customer site in Arlington, VA.

- Team: Lead a team of 4 Intune mobility engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications (preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) or ITIL.
