BOOST is partnering with a cleared small business that provides mission-critical, AI-driven cyber defense and reverse engineering solutions for U.S. Government clients to hire a Senior Systems Integrator. This opportunity is 100% onsite located in the Northern Virginia area.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Systems Integrator, you will deploy, configure, and secure mission-critical sensors, secure enclaves, and firmware baselines across classified enterprise networks. You will lead efforts to integrate advanced capabilities, automate baseline compliance, and drive Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages through Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, collaborating closely with cyber, AI/ML, and software engineering teams. This position demands an unwavering commitment to mission-first, people-always principles, maintaining zero tolerance for mission failure while executing highly complex integration tasks under time-sensitive and high-consequence conditions.
Responsibilities:

Install, harden, and maintain Linux and Windows servers, hypervisors, and virtual appliances within classified and secure enclaves.

Deploy, patch, and tune network and security sensors (IDS/IPS, Zeek, Suricata) as well as custom telemetry collection tools.

Automate baseline builds and configuration management using Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell, ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs and secure baseline standards.

Manage firmware updates and lifecycle controls for routers, switches, and specialized hardware devices supporting national security missions.

Author RMF artifacts including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms); coordinate with ISSOs and ISSMs to achieve timely ATO approvals.

Integrate secure cross-domain transfer mechanisms, trusted gateway appliances, and enclave data-flows, ensuring robust accreditation of mission-critical information exchanges.

Troubleshoot highly complex integration challenges spanning storage, networking, and virtualization technologies in high-security environments.

Develop and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while mentoring junior engineers on best practices for secure configuration management.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align evolving mission needs with technical solutions, demonstrating a bias for action and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
-
Eight plus (8+) years of systems engineering or systems integration experience in classified or highly regulated environments.

Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization technologies.

Hands-on experience applying security baselines and DISA STIGs, with strong knowledge of automating compliance checks.

Advanced scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, or Python, and familiarity with Ansible or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.

Ability to create concise technical documentation and confidently brief mission stakeholders on complex systems issues.

Proven commitment to mission-first, people-always leadership with zero tolerance for mission failure.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Security+ CE, CISSP, or comparable security certification.

Familiarity with secure container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) in classified environments.

Prior participation in ATO processes, including NIST 800-53 control implementation and accreditation artifacts.

Exposure to cross-domain solution integration and multi-enclave architecture best practices.
