Job Description

  • Develop and maintain organisational security policies, standards, and controls to ensure compliance.

  • Embed security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including threat modelling and secure code reviews.

  • Perform application security testing (SAST/DAST) and manage application-level vulnerabilities.

  • Manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle, including scanning, analysis, prioritisation, and tracking remediation.

  • Lead cyber security incident response, from initial triage and containment to post-incident analysis.

  • Conduct IT security compliance audits and assessments against frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST.

  • Create concise reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance status.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, or related field.

  • Strong practical experience in:

    • IT Security Compliance and Auditing.

    • Application Security and secure SDLC practices.

    • Vulnerability Management and analysis.

    • Cyber Security Incident Management.

  • Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).

  • Good organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong sense of ethics, integrity, and responsibility.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English.
