Joining Triple Canopy in a supervisory role offers you the opportunity to leverage your expertise in detecting and preventing acts of violence against a Fortune 500 business with assets and operations worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to support a program that strengthens and uplifts the client organization. Please note that this position has specific training requirements. You will be required to attend and successfully complete the necessary job training. Additionally, you may need to complete further training as a condition of your continued employment. Failure to successfully complete the required training courses according to Constellis or Client standards and policies may result in demotion or separation, based on management’s discretion and appropriate procedures.
Pay Transparency: $108,000.00 annually.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of Security Operations Center Manager, you will be a crucial member of a team of security professionals dedicated to detecting and preventing acts of violence against both corporate leadership and the corporation’s assets. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as the primary Operations Center Manager, providing operational and intelligence support, reporting, and guidance for a single point of notification at the Client’s corporate headquarters
- Collaborate with fellow Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel and other professionals to ensure the proper handling of priority intelligence requirements and response to alarms and suspicious behavior as related to corporate assets. This includes a thorough understanding of command center operations, protective intelligence, threats, and inappropriate communications, as well as situational awareness across the operating domain. You must also demonstrate the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple locations.
- Ensure timely and relevant information is handled and reported appropriately.
- Possess a general knowledge of Security Operations Center functions and operations, including technical expertise in camera and alarm systems operations. You should be capable of planning and achieving operational goals and assignments, while also developing strategies to enhance operations, policies, and programs.
- Execute the operational protective mission for the Client by conducting complex analyses and developing procedural and technical improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risks to both members and the corporation
- Analyze policies and guidance related to Security Operations Center supervision and operations. Identify and make recommendations concerning operational issues, and document best practices for process improvements.
- Work under limited direction to understand, explain, and guide others in executingthe Security Operations Center mission. Perform complex preliminary analyses, administrative reporting, database checks, and other assigned tasks to support the Client’s security and protective mission.
- Conduct or oversee others in conducting database checks to support the organization’s incident response. Perform preliminary triage research and analysis to enhance understanding of potential threats to members of the Corporation, confirming or validating allegations of threats when possible. Established policies and procedures will guide most assignments, but you will have considerable discretion to select the most appropriate approach or recommend new strategies.
- Draft intelligence summaries in response to the organization's intelligence requirements by compiling all-source intelligence along with relevant operational and incident reports. Additionally, provide quality control for the work of others as necessary. Your work will be reviewed periodically, typically at major milestones and upon completion, to ensure technical compliance and alignment with project requirements or other work activities.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Selective Service Registration: Males born after December 31, 1959, must be registered with the Selective Service.
- **Residency Requirements: You must have primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years. Individuals are required to have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates (as recognized under international law) for at least three of the last five years. If you do not meet this residency requirement and have resided outside the U.S. for more than two of the last five years, you may request an exception for a residency waiver by meeting one or more of the following conditions: - Have worked for the U.S. Government as a federal civilian or member of the military. - Be a dependent authorized to accompany a federal civilian or military member working for the U.S. Government. - Participate in a study abroad program sponsored by a U.S.-affiliated college or university. - Work as a contractor, intern, consultant, or volunteer supporting the U.S. Government.
- E-Verify Participation: Constellis uses E-Verify, an internet-based system, to confirm the eligibility of all newly hired employees to work in the United States.
- Educational Qualifications: You must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A graduate-level degree is preferred. Combinations of successfully completed graduate-level education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis to meet the total qualifications for this position.
- Security Clearance: You must be able to receive a Secret security clearance. This position does not require a polygraph for employment; however, the incumbent may be asked to submit to a polygraph exam after employment and must achieve favorable results to continue in the position. (Currently not called out in requirements we may or may not decide to keep this requirement)
- Specialized Experience: You qualify if you have three (3) years of specialized experience performing duties such as:
- Sworn Federal, State, Local or Tribal law enforcement,
- Security Director, or comparable, responsible for complex security monitoring environments
- Military service, with honorable discharge
- Emergency Management leadership roles
- Applying analytical concepts and methodologies to execute Intelligence Indications & Warnings Watch standard operating procedures, performing complex preliminary analysis, administrative reporting, and database checks. - Coordinating intelligence gathering and analytical concepts, principles, methods, and techniques to analyze and provide guidance on in-depth, raw, and finished intelligence reports to assess if they meet an organization’s intelligence requirements. –
- Collecting, recording, and analyzing data/information to conduct intelligence database checks in support of an agency's incident response and undertaking preliminary research and analysis to understand potential threats to transportation. –
- Interpreting laws and regulations from the federal, state, and local agencies related to threats of violence and inappropriate communications.
Experience refers to both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer activities through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build essential competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer work.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The work environment is exclusively office based. You may be required to perform work on a shift and rotational basis. You must be ready to work overtime on a scheduled or unscheduled basis in excess of the 40-hour work week. This position does not require a uniform. The requirement is business attire unless otherwise authorized, e.g., “business casual.” May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
