Step into a pivotal cybersecurity role supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) at a cutting-edge Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Operations Facility. This is more than a job—it’s a continuation of the mission.

Your Objective: Defend Digital Frontlines

  • Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of mission-critical information systems.

  • Deliver direct cybersecurity support to AFSOC RPA Operations Centers and local ISSOs.

  • Maintain a robust, accurate program that protects Air Force and Intelligence Community assets.

  • Conduct system reviews, flag risks, and recommend actionable improvements for enhanced resilience.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform ISSO duties across internal and external customers with precision and professionalism.

  • Analyze and report on cybersecurity posture, risks, and compliance metrics.

  • Advise Commanders and ISSMs with strategic courses of action to elevate cyber readiness.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of local cybersecurity programs aligned to DoD guidance.

  • Provide hands-on training to teams on tools, processes, and protection standards.

  • Contribute to security planning, documentation, and compliance efforts for ATOs, POA&Ms, FISMA, and more.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of applicable experience (additional experience may substitute).

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and IAT Level II certification.

  • Solid background in System Administration, risk assessments, and A&A documentation.

  • Familiarity with SIPR and JWICS network environments.

  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational knowledge of Air Force and Intelligence Community policies.

  • Expertise in ICD 705 physical and personnel security protocols.

  • Real-world application of NIST SP 800 standards.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
