These engagements support NVIDIA’s mission by identifying real-world risks and partnering with defenders to strengthen our security posture.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist with Red and Purple Team operations focused on realistic adversary simulation and exploitation

  • Help plan and execute assessments, contributing to domain-wide and product-specific testing efforts

  • Participate in open-box (collaborative) security reviews of NVIDIA technologies and platforms

  • Work with experienced operators to develop or modify tools, scripts, and techniques to support engagement goals

  • Document findings and help communicate risk clearly to engineers and stakeholders

  • Learn from senior team members and threat hunters through collaboration on investigations and detection tuning

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years in a security-focused role, ideally with experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security research

  • Understanding of common attack techniques across Windows and Linux environments

  • Familiarity with common tools (e.g., Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Burp Suite, BloodHound)

  • Strong desire to grow and improve through mentorship and challenging assessments

  • Respectful, responsible approach to offensive testing – we break things carefully and fix them fast

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience scripting or modifying tools in Python, PowerShell, or Go

  • Certifications like OSCP or PNPT

  • Contribution to security blogs, writeups, or open-source projects

  • Exposure to cloud (AWS/Azure), containers (Kubernetes/Docker), or enterprise IT environments

  • Passion for learning new techniques, and an attitude passionate about collaboration over competition
