We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with minimum 5 years of experience to join our team.

This is a Director position that provides specialist cyber expertise and creates solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What you’ll do in the role:
Infrastructure Engineer, responsible for data access protection and data audit as a member of Data Access Protection Squad (DAP). It will include supports of Varonis infrastructure platform including DatAdvantage and Data Privilege applications, using DevOps principles. This role will include platform support functions, reporting, Data Protection, and day-to-day client support. This role will require SDLC skills to work on production automations and development.
• Providing Varonis Infrastructure support using a DevOps model.
• Providing Data Protection and Client support for BU's
• Generating DP (Data Privilege) and DA (DatAdvantage) reporting
• Developing an automation process and tools to improve platform stability and support on-going projects.
• Providing client support and training applying best data protection principles to secure business data.


DAP squad is looking to replace an existing contractor in NA region to provide a strong support of DAP platform and fulfill global coverage model. Product expansion (SaaS, Data Classification, Data Alert, etc) and increase of ongoing projects will require some additional resources to cover day-to day client and infrastructure support of Varonis platform and to continue providing an excellent level of business support.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Protection and Client support in an IT or Data Security role.
• PowerShell/Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Strong generalized Python programming/scripting background.
• Strong Knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms, Data Security and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Strong understanding of file/folder permissions, AD.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and serverless architecture is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Solid understanding of data security principles.


Interpersonal Skills
• Communicative, flexible, self-driven and collaborative team player
• Manage project within Agile principles and use of Kanban board.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills:
• Capable of writing documentation, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting with upper management, colleagues, and customers.
• A self-starter that recognizes the importance and value of working as a member of an agile squad
• Collaborative and adaptable, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional environments.


Desirable Skills
• Knowledge of Windows file/folder permissions and Active Directory (AD).
• Knowledge of Varonis architecture and Varonis Applications
• Experience of big data platforms such as Splunk.
• Experience with reporting tools, e.g. Splunk dashboards, Grafana.
• Some knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) principles.
• Experience of working for global corporations in the Financial Sector.
