W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field plus 1 year experience. Prior experience must include: Perform risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify security gaps; Write security automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go; Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security best practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates; Configure Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC). 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $85,300.00 to $142,200.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
