General Responsibilites: 

  • Identify and pursue security initiatives. Drive continuous improvements and optimize workflow.
  • Interact with IT functions and Business stakeholders to get a full understanding of the business context, risks, concerns, and assist them in making risk-informed decisions
  • Meet timeline, quality objectives and business needs.
  • Lead the team of Security Analysts, set goals and conduct performance evaluations, providing guidance and support.
  • To be responsible for new hires and recruitment processes for team expansion.
  • Prepare shift schedule for the SOC Analyst team.
  • Responsible for understanding the threat landscape and building/executing required action plan.
  • Oversee delivery improvements in Cyber security-managed detection and response process.
  • Support development of SOPs, Resiliency plans, and other necessary documentation to support Security Operations.
  • Operational coordination and dispatch of task, alerts/events/incidents and sources.
  • Building advanced reporting, ensuring the SOC KPIs, SLAs and other metrics are reported.
  • Maintain, contribute and improve training plans, operational model, operational processes, documentation to mature SOC and dependent services.
  • Maintain technical knowledge on the technologies and technological stack required to run modern and efficient SOC, suggest improvements.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on intelligence/analytics research to build capabilities to provide automated and proactive detection and response to threats.
  • Routinely brief and prepare updates to the counterpart on the active incidents and manage expectations.
  • Build and leverage effective relationships across Cyber Security teams, as well as external teams in various lines-of-business, ensuring clear lines of communication and a comprehensive approach to security.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of study with a preference for Information Security, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a technical leadership position and developing high-performing international and remote teams.
  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security topics. Previous experience in related field is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and control the team as well as work within the team.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to key (senior) stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
  • Well-shaped leadership and business thinking skills.
  • Strong in communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English proficiency: Required for communication across our international locations.

  • Monthly gross salary from 5000 to 6000 EUR, depending on your level of expertise.
