Network Administrator (Haverhill)

Summary:

Fusion is seeking a skilled yet versatile Network Administrator to join our IT team. The Network Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure as well as maintaining the on-prem environment (Windows Servers, Firewall, Switches, Backup Solutions, etc.). This role involves working closely with other IT team members to ensure the stability and integrity of our network services, with a particular focus on Windows Server, Azure networking, backup strategies and Microsoft 365 Administration.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement and maintain Azure networking solutions, including virtual networks, VPN gateways, and ExpressRoute.
• Design, configure, and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing Level-2/3 support.
• Implement and manage network security measures to protect data and communications.
• Collaborate with other IT personnel and vendors for problem resolution.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of the network environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements and vulnerability scanning.
• Assist in IT project delivery and adherence to best practices and standards.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Develop and implement backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability, including regular testing and validation of backup and recovery processes.
• Administer and manage Microsoft Intune and Defender to ensure endpoint security and compliance.
• Administer and manage Microsoft Purview to ensure data governance and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on network engineering experience using Azure.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and Azure networking solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
• Experience with network diagnostic and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with security tools, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) are highly valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud networking solutions.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as CMMC, ISO27001, and GDPR.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
