Our Aurora Platform also received CRN’s Products of the Year award in the inaugural Security Operations Platform category. Join a company that’s not only leading, but also shaping, the future of security operations.
Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager, Cloud CSP & MDR Integrations to be part of making this happen.
The Technical Product Manager, Cloud CSP & MDR Integrations, will serve as a subject matter expert in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) for major Cloud Service Provider (CSP) platforms — primarily Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with desirable knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and emerging needs in Oracle and Alibaba Cloud. This role is critical in defining, delivering, and scaling security integrations and telemetry across XDR platforms, with a focus on leveraging native CSP security services (e.g., Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub) to reduce customer risk and accelerate threat detection.
The Technical Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate cloud security needs into product strategy, and guide the development of integrations that support detection, investigation, and response workflows for enterprise customers.
LOCATION: This role is open to Remote-Canada and Hybrid-Waterloo, ON, CA.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Own and evolve the MDR integration strategy for cloud-native security services, particularly Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Arc, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and related telemetry services.
Define integration workflows and product requirements that align with threat detection and response use cases across CSP platforms.
Work with engineering, threat research, and cloud architecture teams to develop scalable, secure MDR ingestion and response pipelines.
Track and assess updates to CSP platforms (especially Microsoft and AWS) for changes to APIs, data schemas, or security service enhancements that impact integrations.
Support development of roadmap and business cases for support of additional platforms (Oracle OCI, Alibaba Cloud).
Represent cloud integration strategy in cross-functional planning, release readiness, and GTM initiatives.
Enable internal sales, partner, and operations teams by delivering clear guidance, product collateral, and positioning around CSP MDR capabilities.
Monitor competitor MDR offerings and partner ecosystems to ensure our solution maintains a differentiated market position.
Analyze customer usage data and partner feedback to drive continuous improvement in coverage, detection fidelity, and integration ease-of-use.
Ensure MDR integrations comply with relevant industry frameworks (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001) and data handling regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of recent product management experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or threat detection/response.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft and AWS security services (Defender suite, Sentinel, Security Hub, CloudTrail, GuardDuty).
Familiarity with MDR or XDR platforms and their integration with CSP environments.
Technical proficiency in API design, telemetry formats (JSON, Syslog), and security information flow.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
Experience in threat intelligence, SOC operations, or SIEM/XDR implementation.
Familiarity with compliance/regulatory standards including CMMC, NIST 800-171/53, ISO 27001.
Experience designing or supporting integrations in event-driven, serverless, or microservices environments.
Working knowledge of response orchestration tools and automation platforms (SOAR, Logic Apps, Lambda, etc.).
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of public cloud security architectures, including cloud-native detection tools (e.g., Defender for Endpoint/Cloud/Identity, AWS Config/Inspector/CloudTrail, GCP SCC).
Ability to distill complex telemetry pipelines into customer-facing value — detection coverage, alert prioritization, response automation.
Clear written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience writing technical product requirements, defining KPIs, and managing backlog/priorities for security-focused teams.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and APIs for security telemetry ingestion (e.g., Event Hubs, CloudWatch Logs, Pub/Sub).
Knowledge of agile product delivery, including collaboration with developers and technical program managers.
Key Competencies:
Security-first mindset with a passion for defending customers through better telemetry and faster detection-response cycles.
Cloud platform fluency — Azure and AWS as primary, GCP as secondary, with awareness of OCI and Alibaba Cloud for future evolution.
Threat-centric thinking — ability to map integration features to MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-53, and operational detection strategies.
Customer empathy — translating security architecture complexity into usable and impactful MDR capabilities.
