Weâre looking for a systems administrator with a solid background in VMWare, Linux, Windows, cyber, and Cisco networking to help us develop a sustainable cybersecurity Industrial Control Systems (ICS) test lab for the DoD.
As a systems administrator on our project, youâll ensure the current infrastructure is secure, functional and available, ready to add the next ICS test system, and update and patch all lab systems. Youâll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Youâll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skill set into areas like cyber vulnerabilities and patches, Continuous Monitoring and Maintenance of ATO, ICS integration, and management of entire networks. We focus on growing as a team, so youâll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, youâll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have:
Experience administering VMWare, Linux, Windows, and Cisco networks
Experience identifying network intrusions and quarantining such intrusions
Experience analyzing OS or Operational Technology (OT) cyber threats
Experience with network security principles and firewall management
Experience with administration and security of SQL servers
Experience with power utility or industrial automation systems
Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and architectures
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Security+ Certification and OS Certification in VMWare, Windows, or Cisco
Nice If You Have:
Experience with SEL protection and automation products
Experience in power systems or industrial control systems
Experience with centralized network management platforms
Knowledge of utility communication protocols such as DNP3, IEC 61850, or Modbus
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT
Networking Vendor Certification such as Cisco or Juniper Certification
CISSP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
