JOB SUMMARY:

  • Facilitate Agile Scrum framework, by working closely with the Product Owner, coaching the Cyber Patching agile team and other stakeholders, and removing impediments to ensure the team can achieve its goals.
  • Collaborating with Cyber Engineering: Working closely with Cyber stakeholders to integrate and test cybersecurity solutions.
  • Developing and testing patches to mitigate vulnerabilities in Software, Hardware, and Firmware.
  • Managing vulnerabilities through analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CVEs, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurations.
  • Documenting and verifying all installation and configuration steps for laboratory environments.
  • Collaborating with software developers and vendors to diagnose and resolve integration issues.
  • Providing redlines and feedback to engineers and Cyber Leadership.
  • Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards as part of daily tasks.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced team environment.
  • Understanding of DoD best practices for confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of systems is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
  • Understanding of software development life cycles and testing processes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 2+ years of related cyber professional experience.
  • Administrative experience with Window and/or Linux systems.
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start.
  • DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or higher)
  • Experience and knowledge of Patch Management systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree with 2 years related professional experience, or Master's degree with 0 years related professional experience.

LOCATION: Full Time/ On-Site in Colorado Springs, CO

CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: Secret Required

DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II Required at start

SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $110, 000

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.Estimated Pay Range$90,000—$110,000 USD
