About the position

The Cybersecurity Assurance Manager is primarily responsible for establishing cyber security controls and ensuring they are effective and continuously improved across Flora Food Group. The role also provides assurance that cyber risks are being managed and that the organisation is compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Reporting directly to the Global CISO, the successful incumbent will be a member of the cyber security leadership team, contributing to the design and implementation of strategic initiatives & the improvement roadmap across the team.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
- Cyber Assurance Strategy – Define and lead the assurance roadmap, manage risk registers, and align with enterprise risk frameworks.
- Controls & Compliance – Develop cyber controls, monitor compliance with frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS), and regulatory standards (GDPR, NIS2, EU AI Act).
- Risk & Resilience – Assess and improve critical asset security, third-party cyber resilience, and M&A risk posture.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with IT, architecture, legal, audit, and business leaders to embed security into systems and processes.
- Leadership & Reporting – Manage a team of analysts, deliver executive scorecards, and drive continuous improvement in assurance practices.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity leadership within a global organization
- Deep knowledge of assurance processes, control testing, and audit methodologies
- Strong grasp of regulatory and compliance landscapes
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team development skills
- Relevant certifications: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
