In LATAM within the cybersecurity domain, we are actively seeking a Semi Senior Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our team focused on implementing and maintaining robust cloud security across enterprise environments. You’ll play a key role in hardening cloud infrastructure, protecting critical assets, and automating security processes across leading cloud platforms.

This is the team

In your role, you'll become a vital member of a cross-functional cybersecurity team composed of cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, and security architects. Your primary responsibility will involve securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), automating security operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Here you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to global technological progress while advancing your own skills and career.

This is you

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud security or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Background in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
  • Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Skilled in hardening systems, networks, and cloud services.
  • Familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficient in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • English level: Intermediate, with the ability to collaborate in global teams.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud-native security monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Experience automating security workflows and integrating with CI/CD pipelines

This is your role

  • Apply security hardening best practices in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
  • Evaluate and enhance the security posture of cloud infrastructure using analysis and scanning tools.
  • Configure and maintain security controls such as IAM policies, encryption, firewall rules, monitoring, and alerts.
  • Automate security-related tasks using scripting and IaC tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Architecture teams to ensure security is embedded in the development lifecycle.
  • Document cloud security configurations, procedures, and technical assessments for internal use and compliance.
