HOW AN OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY (OT) ASSET VISIBILITY AND SECURITY ENGINEERING LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Lead position is responsible for coordination and workload balancing of the team, facilitating, and ensuring appropriate technical decisions are made to support fulfillment of Postal goals and objectives in required timelines
• The lead individual further works closely between the technical team and Postal leadership and architecture and strategy teams to ensure engineered solutions meet all functional and architectural requirements
• Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs
• Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required
• NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required

Required Experience:

• 13+ years of OT security experience and application of asset visibility solutions towards OT hardware and software asset management security efforts supporting both OT operations and security efforts including network access control, USB attached device control, file integrity monitoring, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support
• Candidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts
• Build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders. 

Security Clearance Level:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
• This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $166,280 - $224,968. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
