Our work depends on a Privilege Access Management (PAM) Engineer joining our team to analyze design, develop, implement, and support code for our government customer, the United States Postal Service.

   

HOW A PRIVILEGE ACCESS MANAGEMENT (PAM) ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Technical contributor that will be implementing USPS cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital identities within the network, connected assets, hosted applications and data within the Information Technology (IT) environment.
  • Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment
     

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required.
  • NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of IT security experience and application of Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions towards identity and access management efforts
  • Specific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Beyond Trust, Okta, SCIM integration
  • Splunk use and knowledge object development
  • Windows and Linux system administration
  • Python scripting and automation implementation
  • Directory services including Active Directory, are required
  • Candidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts
  • Ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders.

Security Clearance Level:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
  • This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $108,979 - $147,443. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
