About The Role:
The Major incident manager is responsible for leading the resolution of P1 critical incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and recovery of services through effective communication on the bridge/conference call with multiple vendors and delivery teams using “whiteboard” tooling and responsible for escalations across internal and external vendor support teams. With over 200 vendors supporting this high-stakes, business critical contract.
What You´ll Do:
Lead and coordinate the response to priority 1 incidents and ensuring timely resolution and client and Account executive communication;
Act as the lead during high severity incident, driving technical teams to restoration of service; Coordination and Communication – act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders including technical teams, vendors, leadership and client;
Escalation Management – ensure appropriate escalation paths are followed to involve necessary technical and leadership teams and approvals are obtained; Root Cause Analysis (RCA) – drive post-incident reviews to identify root causes, lessons learned and preventive measures Documentation – maintain clear, accurate incident records and timelines for audit and reporting purposes Continuous Improvement – identify process gaps, recommend improvements to leadership and support proactive incident reduction strategies.
Adaptability – willingness to be coached, mentor. and adaptable to change to meet client business requirements
