This role belongs to the IT Security Group within the Information Security & Privacy Governance Department. Our objective is to develop measures to ensure that our organizational data remains secure. While doing this, we often partner with other departments to advise them on security best practices.

Position Details

As a Senior IT Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's information assets. Core responsibilities include developing, managing, and maintaining IT security policies—particularly those related to Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM), Cloud Firewall, and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB). Working closely with our Corporate IT Department, you will help ensure effective policy implementation. In addition, this role involves collaborating with various departments to understand their security-related needs and supporting the implementation of appropriate solutions. To further strengthen our security posture, you will also partner with the Cybersecurity Defense Department to ensure comprehensive protection against emerging threats.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of experience in IT security; experience with managing cloud firewall and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) policies is highly beneficial.

- In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies, including risk assessment, incident response, and security policy development.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and various departments to implement security policies and solutions.

- TOEIC score of 800 or higher in English, and high-level proficiency in Japanese, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications:

- Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or other certifications that showcase a solid understanding of IT security frameworks and best practices.

- Advanced Security Tools: Experience with advanced security tools and technologies, such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), DLP (Data Loss Prevention), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.

- Network Security: Experience in network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN technologies.

- Security Audits: Experience conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
