WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a cutting-edge technology company, we are searching for an eDiscovery Analyst to join our exceptional team. Kaseya is a leader in delivering groundbreaking solutions that empower businesses to thrive in the digital age.  In this position, you will assist with the triage, review, and handling of evidence for both the Security Operations Center and the Legal Department under advisement of more experienced peers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform collections in support of internal eDiscovery and Subject Rights Requests (e.g., DSAR, HR/Legal investigations).
  • Perform Data Loss Prevention (DLP) alert review and escalate cases to Insider Threat, Legal, Risk, or Compliance teams as appropriate.
  • Provide direct technical support throughout the lifecycle of Insider Threat investigations.
  • Act as an Evidence Technician/Evidence Custodian, maintaining an accurate chain of custody and evidence handling procedures.
  • Support forensic imaging and acquisition of digital devices, ensuring preservation of key data in line with investigative and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with Legal, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to scope and execute collections in a timely, auditable manner.
  • Support Insider Threat team for process improvements through the proactive identification and testing of new eDiscovery processes and tools.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As an eDiscovery Analyst at Kaseya, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital infrastructure from potential threats external and internal. You will work alongside experienced professionals and have the opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in the field of eDiscovery, Insider Threat, and cybersecurity.

Prior experience as a cyber security analyst is preferred. The candidate’s experience and demonstrated capability in at least one cybersecurity domain is a plus. This person must have effective communication and project management skills.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, cybersecurity or equivalent work experience
  • Experience or formal training in eDiscovery, digital forensics or investigative support within a legal, security or privacy capacity.
  • Certifications (optional but preferred): CEDS, Magnet Axiom Certified, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
  • Cross domain certifications: BTL1, CAPM, and/or relevant IT certifications

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Familiarity with tools such as Magnet Axiom, Microsoft Purview, or Azure Information Protection (experience not required but preferred).
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR and CCPA) and legal hold processes.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining attention to detail and standards.
  • Moderate domain knowledge covering common facets for role and responsibility learning professional concepts and best practices.
  • 1-3 years of experience in eDiscovery, cybersecurity, information security, or related field
