The Role

As a Cyber Engineering Analyst at MAG, you’ll play a vital part in our Information Security & Cyber team, supporting the day-to-day operations of our cyber security tools and platforms. Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security Engineering, your role will involve managing system access, troubleshooting issues, ensuring product lifecycle maintenance, and producing detailed analysis reports.

You’ll collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure optimal performance of cyber applications and help safeguard the security of our systems. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system configurations, apply updates, and proactively respond to risks and vulnerabilities.

What will make you successful in the role?

We’re looking for two experienced, detail-driven cyber professional with a proactive mindset. You’ll need:

  • Experience in information technology or cyber security
  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent work experience
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or CEH.
  • Strong knowledge of information security concepts and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, Mitre, ITIL)
  • Familiarity with application monitoring, risk and vulnerability assessments, and audit processes
  • Experience with any of the following: BeyondTrust, Sentinel SEIM, KnowBe4 or Microsoft Entra.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems (especially Windows), IAM, and security tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in working collaboratively across technical teams and with third-party vendors
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, patching and hardening.
  • Experience with coordinating activities of external vendors, such as system upgrades or performing penetration tests.
