Job Description

Develops functional systems and solutions with a focus on scalability, automation, reliability, security and quality. Implements customer integrations and improves the customer experience. Performs root cause analysis of production errors, resolves issues, designs procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance, and builds tools to reduce error occurrence.

Business Unit: Retail Platform Proposition (RPP).

• Security Automation: Lead the development and maintenance of security automation scripts and tools within CI/CD pipelines. Implement and optimize automated security testing processes.

• Vulnerability Management: Oversee vulnerability scanning and assessment processes, ensuring timely identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities. 

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to address security findings. 

• Security Monitoring: Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of security monitoring solutions. 

• Incident Response: Assist in analysing security events, participating in incident response, and contributing to continuous improvement. 

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the implementation of security best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the infrastructure provisioning process. 

• Secure Configuration Management: Implement and enforce secure configuration management practices for infrastructure components. Work with teams to establish and monitor secure configuration baselines. 

• Security Awareness and Training: Contribute to security awareness programs and training initiatives for development and operations teams. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in DevSecOps. 

• Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with DevOps engineers, developers, and security professionals to ensure security is embedded in all aspects of DevOps processes. 

• Provide mentorship to junior members of the DevSecOps team. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, security, or a related role. 

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. 

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with security automation tools. 

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts and practices. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Certification in DevSecOps or relevant security certifications. 

• Experience with advanced CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). 

• In-depth knowledge of container security best practices. 

• Familiarity with security scanning tools and vulnerability management platforms. 

• Expertise in incident response and security incident analysis.
