Job Description & Summary:

A career as an L3 Database Administrator involves ensuring that databases are robust, secure, and efficient to support data-driven operations. The role entails continuous improvement of systems and contributing to the overall IT strategy while collaborating with other teams to meet application and infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities:

Administer databases using SQL Server, AWS RDBMS.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
Automate database operations using AWS tools and scripting.
Ensure data security, compliance, and access control.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application data needs.
Participate in gathering and analyzing user requirements for application design.
Support identification and resolution of bugs and issues.
Work with other IT teams to support application and infrastructure needs

Mandatory skill sets:

Experience on SQL Server installation, configuration, and design.
Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, AWS RDBMS, PostgreSQL).
Strong knowledge of SQL and database programming.
Ability to diagnose and solve complex database problems.
Experience with large-scale databases and high-availability environments
