MAIN PURPOSE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Integration Solution Architect to join Richemont Group’s Integration Center of Enablement. This strategic role involves designing and evolving the enterprise-wide system integration architecture in close collaboration with the Group Enterprise Architecture Office, ensuring seamless interoperability across platforms and services. The position also focuses on continuously modernizing the integration ecosystem—applications, platforms, and services—according to changing business needs, while maintaining robustness, scalability, availability, and alignment with modern technology stacks.

 

This role requires close collaboration with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure secure, scalable, and business-aligned integration solutions. The ideal candidate will also contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within Richemont.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architecture & Strategy

  • Design, implement, and evolve integration architectures aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Ensure integration platforms and services remain scalable, maintainable, and high-performing (e.g., capable of handling X transactions per second with Y latency).
  • Lead initiatives to modernize the technology stack in line with industry trends.
  • Define standards and practices for integration, messaging, and service interfaces (APIs, EDA).
  • Contribute to the global integration strategy and technical roadmap.
  • Contribute to the development of integration patterns and best practices.

Platform Evolution & Solution Delivery

  • Continuously enhance and adapt integration platforms and applications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure solutions are robust, secure by design, and highly available.
  • Lead solution architecture activities from design to deployment.
  • Oversee platform upgrades and ensure compatibility with future standards and interfaces.
  • Involved in projects such as cloud migrations, e-commerce integrations, and supply chain integrations.

Security & Identity

  • Design secure authentication and authorization flows across integration layers.
  • Apply modern identity standards including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and related protocols.
  • Ensure consistent identity and access control models across services.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Work cross-functionally with enterprise architects, domain architects, business analysts, and security teams.
  • Support governance by contributing to documentation, policies, and reusable assets.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure compliant and extensible integration solutions.

Key Technologies & Tools

  • API Management: Kong (Experience with Kong Enterprise Edition preferred)
  • Messaging Platforms: Solace
  • Integration Platforms: SAP CPI, Mulesoft
  • ETL Tools: Informatica
  • Data Modeling & Governance: Metadata repositories, Canonical modeling
  • Other: SAP, Salesforce

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in integration and/or solution architecture roles.
  • Proven expertise in event-driven architecture (EDA), synchronous APIs, and middleware technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with API gateways and messaging platforms (e.g., Kong, Solace, SAP CPI, Mulesoft, Informatica).
  • Strong understanding of platform evolution, modernization strategies, and systems scalability.
  • Solid experience in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and authentication/authorization mechanisms (SSO, IdPs, RBAC, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of canonical data modeling and enterprise data structuring practices.
  • Proficient in designing secure, distributed systems using modern patterns and cloud-native tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (all levels)
  • Fluent English required, other languages are a plus (e.g. French, Italian, Chinese)
  • Willingness & ability to travel
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations
