ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists to join our global IT team as the Head of Technology and Cyber Security, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for technology operations, service delivery, risk management, and cyber security across all stores, distribution centres (DCs), offices, and supporting systems worldwide.


With a broad remit, you will ensure our technology platforms empower Cotton On’s business functions across global operations. You will lead cyber security posture and response, proactively defending against risks and threats throughout our technology landscape. You will also oversee the success of our global IT support hubs, delivering seamless technology experiences for distribution centres, retail stores, and internal teams.


As Cotton On continues to grow and expand, this position is vital in maintaining technological momentum. Beyond managing today’s systems, you will review, challenge, and develop a strategic technology roadmap that supports our future goals and strengthens technical governance and change management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•    Demonstrated success in a senior technology leadership role delivering IT and cyber security services within a large-scale, fast-paced global retail environment.
•    Strong business acumen with in-depth experience across technical infrastructure, cyber security, end-user services, and change governance.
•    Proven ability to develop and execute technology and security roadmaps, aligning investment to the evolving needs of stores, DCs, offices, and back-end infrastructure.
•    Experience leading and implementing business systems strategies across multiple functional departments.
•    Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders, based on a deep understanding of business needs and market dynamics.
•    Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering innovative, adaptable solutions in complex environments.
•    Established leadership skills with a record of building, developing, and supporting high-performing teams to achieve shared goals.
