About the Position 

The above role is based in the Dublin office, with select travel to other RenRe offices as required.  

Key Relationships 

• Reports to: AVP, Directory Services Manager 

• Key Stakeholders:  IT Infrastructure, IT Security 

• Key Partners:  Directory Service Group, IT Service Desk, IT Development, Application Support.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Work closely with the IT & Security teams around Active Directory and Entra ID Hardening 

• Remediate vulnerabilities in line with SLAs.  

• Engage with platform owners to maintain an agreed level of vulnerability management on their applications or servers. 

• Collaborating with global IT members, platform owners and security teams to remediate known enterprise vulnerability management risks.  

• Monitoring and tracking the status of identified vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation.  

• Staying up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry’s best practices.  

• Preparing and presenting vulnerability remediation assessment reports to management and key stakeholders.  

• Understanding technology interdependence and their impact on vulnerability management.  

• Understanding and implementing Azure infrastructure security management 

Skills and Knowledge 

• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Identity Services (Active Directory, Entra ID) 

• Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Infrastructure (GPO, Intune) 

• Strong technical knowledge of a broad range of IT solutions across on-prem, cloud, network and end user technologies.  

• Good knowledge of Microsoft PKI infrastructure  

• Good technical knowledge of security-relevant systems e.g., Bloodhound (or equivalent).  

• Good knowledge of business security requirements and their implementation.  

• Understanding technology interdependence and their impact on security.  

• An ability to analyse configurations and ensure they are in line with policy.  

Candidate Qualifications 

• Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies 

• Degree (preferred).  

• Previous experience with enterprise management tools and technologies (e.g. Active Directory, GPO, Intune, Entra ID, Azure).  

Experience 

• Experience working with high level domain permissions – Domain Administrator, etc. 

• Experience working on AD Hardening and Security remediation and  

• Experience of managing stakeholders across all levels and working with outsourced suppliers.  

• Experience of creating and presenting executive summary reports.  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
