As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise team members on the design and processes for implementation of components of technological structures. In this role, you will create solutions with a process-driven view, as well as devise processes for maintaining and/or updating existing structures.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Cloud Security - Architecture – Advisor ( Data Security Architect) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

• Architect and Lead Security Solutions by Leveraging deep technical expertise and leadership to design, document and implement security patterns, requirements and architectures across data domains, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Serve as the domain expert for Data Security Architecture, encompassing Data Science, Data Stores, Relational Database Services, Data Analytics, and ETL platforms.
• Act as a subject matter expert in securing data access, storage, and propagation. Design secure architectures that enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and apply Zero Trust principles across enterprise environments.
• Navigate architecture governance processes by adhering to established oversight protocols and securing all requisite approvals to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Partner with Product Owners and Enterprise Architects to align security controls with business objectives. Enable leadership to make informed, risk-based decisions through clear communication and strategic insight.
• Drive the development and adoption of cloud security standards, best practices, and technologies within Enterprise IT infrastructure

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

• 6 years of relevant experience
• Deep Expertise and proven Track record in AWS Architecture and Services including Compute, IAM, RDS, Resource Policies, Network controls, Data Storage, ETL, Serverless, ECS/EKS, Big data, Data Access and Data Migration.

• Proven track record in building and enforcing full-stack security guardrails for modern architectures involving APIs, microservices, data storage, ETL and streaming platforms.
• Adept at applying AWS security pillars and best practices to design well-architected frameworks with robust IAM policies, resource policies, and network controls.
• Experience in a wide range of information security domains, including application security, threat modeling, API security, infrastructure security, authentication/authorization, encryption, key management, and SIEM integration.
• Demonstrated success in implementing data protection strategies to prevent data loss and leakage, with deep knowledge of encryption, access control, and secure data handling
• Strong domain knowledge in data analytics, data science, ETL pipelines, DMS, and both relational and NoSQL databases.

Desired Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Information security with 6 years of cloud security for solution architecture, systems architecture and engineering
• AWS advanced Certification (Professional, Specialty), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent
• Familiarity with Planning, Design, Road maps, POC implementations for AWS Cloud technologies. 
• Experience maintaining ACL, Security Groups and firewall configurations in the cloud.

The hiring range for this role is set forth below.
