SUPERVISOR: Manager of IT ā Service Delivery
SUMMARY: Safeguard American?Packaging?Corporationās data, systems, and manufacturing operations by leading an enterprise-wide cybersecurity program. Guide business and technology decisions through a risk-based lens, driving the projects, policies, standards, and procedures that reduce threat exposure and ensure compliance. Act as the primary liaison among executive leadership, IT, and plant operationsātranslating security objectives into actionable roadmapsāand advise IT Managers on secure infrastructure planning and implementation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for defining, advocating, and implementing the Company IT Security Policies.
- Program and Project management experience to effectively drive a portfolio of Information Security related projects.
- Oversees tasks are associated with the protection of Company assets.
- Investigate Security issues and implement corrective actions.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees, contractors and IT Partners.
- Manage departmental financial budgets and monitor spending throughout the year.
- Collaborate with project teams, and other stakeholders, to conduct information security assessments and solutions development, ensuring accountability for the appropriate balance of risk, cost, resources, delivery and customer experience.
- Responsible for defining a Communication Strategy for all stakeholders from Executive Steering Committed to general population to be kept informed.Ā Ā
- Administer a vulnerability management program to identify, classify, remediate and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Responsible for creating, managing, testing, and leading the APC Incident Response Plan.
- Available off hours and weekends as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
? Expertise with security frameworks (NIST CSF/800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulations (CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX).
? Hands-on skill with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and cloud-security stacks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
? Ability to architect Zero-Trust networks, segmentation, and robust IAM solutions.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEĀ
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or University in Cybersecurity or Computer Science discipline. A minimum of six years of related experience and/or training. Masterās degree and 10+ years of experience, preferred.
Required Certification:
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and 2+ years of experience
or
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and 5+ years of experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.Ā
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
