Requirements:
Our European consulting practice seeks a dynamic, strategic leader to help further develop our services within this region. In this dynamic role, you will work with our regional sales team to help drive consulting services sales as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, managed IT services, and more. You will manage a talented team of consultants and provide strategic guidance internally and to customers. A strong technical background and the ability to translate technical and business requirements are required.
 
Director of Consulting Services has these primary responsibilities:
  • Manage the UK consulting team
  • Help to drive sales of consulting offerings in the UK by collaborating with the Sales Team
  • Assist with project scoping and pricing
  • Provide strategic guidance to the UK Consulting Team
  • Assist with the delivery of consulting services, including stakeholder interviews, internal roundtables, and customer presentations
  • Serve as the primary liaison with IASME around Cyber Essentials Certifications.
  • Develop consulting products for the UK and European markets.
  • Be available to present at events as a SME, internally and for customers/prospects.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing Thrive's methodologies and approaches to consulting products
  • Collaborate with Thrive’s global consulting team members regarding product development and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accreditation in a related discipline (e.g. Operations Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategic leadership of a technical team
  • Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences at levels up to C-suite
  • Existing CISSP or CISM certification, or willingness to achieve certification
  • Knowledge of industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks, including the CIS 18 controls
  • Operational and technology experience in MSP, MSSP, software/hi-tech, healthcare, and/or manufacturing & distribution organisations
  • Ability to create customer-facing documents and presentations
  • Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United Kingdom
  • Ability to travel as required
 
Education:
BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
