About the Role:

Seerist is looking for a motivated, experienced, Director of Sales & Customer Success to join our team to help us retain and expand our book of business in both new and existing customers in the Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will strive to continuously improve our processes, talent, and results in the region while also working closely to with our strategic partner in the region, Control Risks.  The successful candidate will have quota-carrying sales experience working with both new and existing customers, and people management experience for subscription / SaaS solution provider.

Role and Responsibilities:

·       Manage the 1 Customer Success Managers (CSMs) in the region to maximize customer retention and customer engagement, with expectation to grow this team over time.

·       Work with the Customer Success Manager in the region to drive net expansion and upsells into our customer base.

·       Act as an individual contributor in selling new logo business in the region, eventually hiring

·       Implement best practices for measuring and improving customer sentiment and customer health through collaboration with the EMEA and Americas Customer Success Leaders for consistent practices and strategies globally.

·       Implement and manage the Seerist global sales process in the region

·       Ensure accurate forecasting of New logo, Upsell, and customer churn in the region and maintain data accuracy of such forecasts and sales activities within Seerist’s CRM system.

·       Ensure the required pipeline is being built to support Seerist’s bookings targets in the region for both upsell and new logo.

·       Provide leadership, mentorship, advocacy, career development, and performance management for any team members under management.

·       Partner with the marketing team to ensure we are marketing and messaging to the targeted personas for demand generation in the region.

·       Partner with Revenue Operations for proper implementation of tools and processes needed.

·       Work closely with the Control Risks as a strategic partner in the Americas to help drive upsell and customer retention.

·       Attend in-person at networking and industry events as needed

·       Build strong relationships with customers through true understanding of, and passion for, solving client problems and by becoming an expert in the application of Seerist data, analysis and technology for the benefit of your customers.

·       Support your clients as their partner, navigating complex enterprise-level organizations, and helping them to build the business case for Seerist

·       Work collaboratively with our Technical Solutions team to provide best-in-class customer experience during any trials/pilots.

·       Become adept in delivering demos of the Seerist platform to support the business as needed.

·       Engage and lead the commercial and contractual as needed to support and expand our existing customer base.

·       Work well in teams with partners on engagements where the Seerist sale also involves the delivery a broader solution, such as Control Risks opportunities.

·       Provide insightful and actionable client feedback to drive product innovation and represent the voice of our customers. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·       Proven experience of achieving quota for new customers and/or existing customers roles for a SaaS provider.

·       5+ years experience in a SaaS Customer Success and/or sales role

·       External candidates will require 3+ years of people management experience in a SaaS Sales function.

·       Experience in selling business intelligence data and analysis/insight to an analytical buyer

·       Strength in managing customer relationships at a strategic level

·       Ability to work with partners in a team selling environment

·       Proven ability to understand and apply sales methodologies – MEDDICC specifically

·       Significant experience selling into and maintaining strong relationships at a senior level within Fortune 500 companies

·       Genuine customer empathy Ability to communicate complex ideas concisely, articulately, and appropriately. 

·       Passionate about technology, the changing world and current affairs  

·       Strong analytical skills and ability to think laterally. 

·       Ability to meet internal/external deadlines. 

·       Ability to listen, learn quickly and demonstrate initiative. 

·       Ability to present and negotiate with senior-level management 

·       Clearly communicate expectations and accountabilities 

Additional Desired Qualifications:

·       Experience using Hubspot, Zoom Info, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong 

·       Understanding of enterprise applications for Artificial Intelligence; travel security, corporate security and political risk, threat-monitoring, or threat intelligence services, and/or selling to corporate security departments
