IT Security Engineer

Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Global Information Technology team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a IT Security Engineer. 

You can look forward to

• You monitor our security systems in our environments and analyse relevant security events
• You analyse incidents such as potential cyber attacks or spam and phishing attacks and report them to the Security Operation Center
• You research and categorise threats in the areas of network, storage, cloud and/or email, you identify and close gateways and vulnerabilities for potential disruptions
• You determine the causes of attacks, support the restoration of services and continuously monitor IT systems for intrusions or irregular behaviour
• You deal with the planning and implementation of regulatory and legal requirements in the context of IT security

You come equipped with

• Professional experience in the field of IT security in an internationally operating company, in particular in the development of IT security architectures
• Experienced knowledge of innovative IT security technologies and processes
• Experience with enterprise networks and cloud environments as well as the implementation and operation of complex network and security solutions
• Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure in the areas of vulnerability management, penetration testing, operating systems and cloud environments
• German and English at a conversational level
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation and interest in continuous training and further education
