Incident Response Manager – EMEA

About the Role:

Varonis’ Incident Response team is a globally distributed, outcome-driven organization focused on delivering exceptional post-sales security outcomes to our customers. We are seeking a customer-centric Incident Response Manager to lead and scale our EMEA-based division. This role is critical in shaping the customer experience, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our clients.

You will report to the Director of Incident Response and play a key role in executing the broader cybersecurity strategy across EMEA. You will directly oversee personnel based in the UK, France, and Germany, ensuring regional alignment with global strategy and consistent delivery of high-impact, value-driven services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing international team of security analysts focused on delivering incident response and investigation services.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor for complex customer incidents, ensuring timely, transparent, and effective resolution.
  • Act as the face of Incident Response for strategic customers, building long-term relationships and aligning security outcomes with customer security goals.
  • Collaborate across a variety of Varonis teams including:
      - MDDR Operations
      - Forensics
      - Threat Labs, Security Research, and Detection Engineering
      - Customer Success, TAMs, and Sales
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring proactive communication, clear incident handling, and measurable value delivery.
  • Develop and implement regional processes, playbooks, and KPIs to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on incident trends, team performance, and customer impact.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in a leadership role managing personnel.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in incident response, investigations, and customer-facing security operations.
  • Familiarity with customer-vendor relationships and delivery of security services in a consultative manner.
  • Experience managing personnel across multiple countries, including the UK, France, and Germany.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MDR and IR vendor offerings.
  • Familiarity with data security principles.
  • Experience supporting sales or customer success initiatives from a technical leadership perspective.
