POSITION SUMMARY

Aleut is seeking experienced professionals to support multiple staff positions within Mission Delta 3 and Space Operations Command (SpOC) in Colorado Springs, CO. These critical roles provide high-level support to U.S. Space Force missions, requiring technical expertise and staff-level operational experience. Personnel will provide subject matter expertise across planning, operations, and strategy; support operational readiness and capability development; collaborate with leadership at Mission Delta 3 and SpOC, and engage in high-impact work supporting U.S. Space Force missions.

The focus of this position is to Identify, assess, and facilitate remediation of vulnerabilities to Critical Infrastructure. Includes the identification and assessment of Mission Systems and infrastructure critical to the USSF, facilitating development of remediation plans, analysis of dependencies between mission critical and supporting assets, evaluation of OPLANS, CONPLANS, numbered and named operations to establish the connection between plans, Mission Essential Tasks and the enabling assets, with emphasis on Information Assurance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Prepare and give Mission Analysis briefings for USSF-nominated Mission Assurance Assessments. Brief findings to senior leaders and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Deltas to focus on protection, continued function and resilience of their mission systems critical to Mission Essential Functions, and based on the findings, aid them in developing strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities through antiterrorism, physical security, and information assurance solutions or budget requests.
• Understand, develop, and execute DoD and Joint Staff Mission Assurance policy.
• Prepare and facilitate approval of the annual USSF TCA validation. TCAs identified and recommendations made through SpOC S35 that necessitate TCAs should be nominated as DCA for not only critical terrestrial USSF weapon systems but also on-orbit ones.
• Proactively collaborate with Intelligence and Cyber Defense SMEs to identify the cyber vulnerabilities of our ICS/SCADA systems.
• Prepare and maintain a Risk Management Matrix detailing the threats, hazards, vulnerability, and impact of loss for each finding from an assessment.
• Represent HQ SpOC in Pre-Assessment Site Surveys in support of Mission Assurance Assessments at locations across the globe.
• Support the training of SpOC and Delta-level Mission Assurance/Critical Infrastructure and Risk Management programs.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

• Minimum: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE

• Five years of experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative Mission Assurance or other vulnerability/risk assessments, with emphasis on Information Assurance.
• Knowledge of Mission Assurance, Critical Asset Risk Management or Critical Infrastructure Protection programs support.
• Knowledge of SpOC space superiority units/missions/weapon systems.
• Proficiency with Combatant Command campaign plans (OPLANS, CONPLANS).
• Relevant experience in a Mission Assurance related discipline including Force Protection, Civil Engineering, Emergency Management, Operations Research or Cyber Security.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This is an onsite position that requires work to be performed onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
• Indoor office working conditions.

• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds.

SALARY RANGE

• $121,000.00 -- $141,000.00 (annual) depending on qualifications
