In this role, you will leverage your expertise to safeguard information systems and enable secure operations.
Requirements
Role Responsibilities:
- Performing security testing, including penetration tests, to uncover weaknesses, create threat models, and assess risks.
- To also implement security tools and automate testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- In addition to responding to security incidents, educate developers on secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Perform continuous monitoring of security systems and assist in incident response activities.
- Analyze current cybersecurity systems and recommend improvements and modifications to enhance security measures.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports on findings, procedures, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+CEH, or CLSSP are highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Eligibility Criteria for IMDA-CLT Program
Trainees eligible for the CLT must minimally be:
- Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).
- Able to commit to completing the full training program.
- Able to meet the hiring requirements of the companies.
