Technical Lead, Cyber Security Engagement

The Cyber Security Team in LSEG is a highly transparent, adaptable, and effective team within Technology function. We enable the organization to deliver against its strategic aims by reducing cyber risk of significant security incidents and data breaches by continually working to improve the security posture of the organization.

You will join the Cyber Engagement team, which is a function within Cyber Security team to enrich and streamline the communication between Business and Cyber Teams to meet the group's strategic requirements.

The Candidate will be responsible for improving efficiency between the LSEG business teams and the Cyber Security functions by devising and implementing automation, process, procedures and reporting that improve how the business engages with Cyber Security. This includes the following core functions

Cyber Business Engagement - Provide Business teams with Security Posture Views of their critical assets, and with insights to help them make informed decisions to prioritize cyber security activities. Manage and coordinate any escalations.

Cyber Production Deployment Checks - The candidate will be responsible for providing assurance that applications deployed into Production are onboarded to the applicable security tools and services prior to any release to Production. They will be required to build efficiencies and build on the current capabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Support existing partnerships with Cyber Security service teams (Penetration Testing, Application Security, Security Architecture, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, etc).
• Support existing partnerships with relevant stakeholders in Business Divisions (D&A, Capital Market, Post Trade)
• Support the team to engage to check applicability to onboarding criteria, align delivery timeline with SME teams and ensure the right forms, tools and processes are being used.
• Support in developing, maintaining and automating the Cyber Engagement tools and services (Pre-engagement Cyber Assessment, Pre-Go Live Checks, Cyber Posture Views/Insights) based on Cyber Security services teams’ standards and Business teams' feedback.
• Support the team in performing early assessments using the Pre-engagement Cyber Assessment process to identify key security controls requirements for new projects.
• Support the Engagement team to deliver Cyber Posture Views which includes informative insights to help with decisions and priortisation of Cyber security activities.
• Support with the LSEG / Microsoft partnership, taking applications through the defined migration process. Supporting the initial assessment and Pre-Go live check processes.
• Create and maintain automation which improves efficiency and drives excellence.

• Understanding of programming languages
• Knowledge of Cyber Security Services e.g. Penetration Testing, SAST, SCA, Perimeter scanning, Infrastructure Scans, End Point Security, Cloud Security etc
