This role requires a deep understanding of network security, system security, and application security to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information assets. The position also encompasses antivirus management, mobile device management (MDM), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) security policies.
Responsibilities:
- Security Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and deploy robust security systems to protect sensitive informationDevelop security architectures and frameworks for new and existing systems.
- Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate violationsImplement and manage security tools like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protectionAssist in responding to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and provide recommendations for resolution and future prevention.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testingIdentify and mitigate potential risks to the organization’s IT infrastructureDevelop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001)Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
- Security Awareness and Training: Conduct security training sessions for employees to raise awareness about security best practices and policies.
- Antivirus Management: Implement and manage enterprise-wide antivirus solutionsRegularly update antivirus definitions and ensure systems are protected against the latest threats.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Deploy and manage MDM solutions to secure mobile devicesEnsure mobile devices comply with corporate security policiesMonitor and enforce MDM policies, including remote wipe and lock capabilities.
- Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Management: Develop and enforce BYOD policies to ensure the secure use of personal devicesImplement security measures for personal devices accessing corporate networks and dataConduct regular audits and compliance checks for BYOD devices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into the organization's technology infrastructureCollaborate with external security vendors and service providers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or a related field
- Proven experience with security systems and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
- Experience with antivirus solutions and mobile device management (MDM) platforms
- Knowledge of BYOD security best practices and policy implementation.
