Job Purpose Role

• Leading the Information Security Function of Allianz Direct
• Taking ownership for managing information security risks of Allianz Direct
• Supporting the board of management in managing Information Security Risks
• Supporting Allianz Direct in building secure products for our customers and partners

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all areas of Information Security including but not limited to IAM, GRC, Security Engineering and Strategy
• Provide regular reports to the board of management and other stakeholders in the Allianz Group and Allianz Direct about the status of our Information Security program
• Lead a team of experts in different areas of information security; this includes coaching on personal and professional development
• Engage and empathize with other leaders and software engineering teams to understand their challenges and adjust the security program accordingly
• Monitor for and manage security incidents
• Perform budget planning and steering
   

Qualifications/Key skills:

• 10+ years of experience in various areas of Information Security
• Significant experience leading security projects in a regulated environment
• Experience with cloud-native environments and their security requirements 
• Independent and collaborative working style
• Good understanding of current software development processes and best practice
• Ability to empathize and influence key stakeholders to achieve security targets
