Risk and compliance specialist

As a Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our mobile payments company operates in a safe, secure, and compliant manner. Your efforts will help protect our company, our customers, and our partners from potential risks and liabilities.

• Researching and analyzing applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to mobile payments
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, information security, and operations, to identify areas that require formalized policies and procedures
• Drafting clear, concise, and comprehensive policies and procedures using a consistent format
• Reviewing and revising policy and procedure drafts with relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Obtaining necessary approvals and distributing finalized documents to employees
• Developing and delivering training materials to educate employees on new or updated policies and procedures
• Monitoring the effectiveness of policies and procedures and recommending improvements as needed
• Maintaining a centralized repository of all company policies and procedures related to risk management and compliance
• Conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
• Serving as a subject matter expert and providing guidance to employees on risk management and compliance matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, compliance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or policy development
• Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to mobile payments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in project management and process improvement methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with mobile payment technologies and platforms preferred
