About the TeamClari's security team's primary focus is ensuring Clari fosters innovation without compromising our customers' trust in the security and privacy of their data. We partner with our business users and design seamless, durable, and scalable security services. We engage across a wide variety of areas including incident response, application security, governance, customer trust, and employee awareness.
About the RoleClari is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join our team and help us build solutions and enhance the security of Clari's AI-supported revenue orchestration platform while maintaining performance and stability. You will be automating repetitive work and developing solutions that increase security as our platform scales. You will see your technology efforts directly improve the security and resilience of our products. Our teams are empowered and expected to strengthen Clari's security posture via active development and collaboration with our engineering partners.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Kraków, Poland. Candidates must be based in Poland.

Responsibilities
- Be an advocate for engineering within the security team
- Help product and engineering build security into their workflows via design reviews and active development
- Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously improve security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Architect and implement security solutions, libraries, and frameworks that other teams can leverage to implement security practices
- Write code and conduct code reviews in Go, Python, Java, or similar languages
- Provide and implement recommendations to improve our monitoring tools
- Develop tools to automate security testing and enable more efficient discovery and resolution of operational security problems
- Participate in security monitoring, incident response, and investigations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Security Engineering, DevOps, or Product Development experience
- Passion for sharing security and privacy by design principles and how they can be applied in a non-disruptive manner
- Possess a strong commitment to improving efficiency for yourself and others through extensive automation of processes
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Go or Python
- Solid networking, Linux, and command line experience
- Experience with container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of Cloud-native authentication and vault mechanisms
- Experience with AWS security best practices and services (IAM, VPC, CloudTrail, etc.)
- Ability to explain complex security topics in simple terms
- Engineer at heart and equally adept at software development and security engineering/operations
