This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office at our headquarters in the Old Post Office in Chicago. Occasional travel may be required for site visits, industry conferences, etc.

This role reports to the Director of Cybersecurity and will be responsible for driving the maturity of our security programs; interfacing with most areas of the business; helping to shape policy and process; communicating the security posture of the organization and evangelizing Cyber concepts and adoption.
At Ferrara, Cybersecurity’s role is to give the business confidence so it can move fast.
Ways you will make a difference
You will interface with multiple functional areas to understand their needs and help develop secure process to support their outcomes. You will help to drive the continued development of incident response plans and processes to keep our systems running. You will assist with the strategic development of the Cybersecurity practice at Ferrara.
Driving the maturity of the Cybersecurity practice will involve project management, documentation, policy development and review, and working closely with the IT technical teams to recommend and support the implementation of controls and systems.

This is a business partnership role that requires a broad technical background.

7 to 10 years IT experience including project management and risk assessment.

Bachelor’s Degree.

Vendor management experience.

Familiarity with NIST or other security frameworks

Certifications not required but can be a plus.
