Security Specialist Customer Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Experience with Cloud Security Solutions.
  
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience as a Lead Security Cloud Architect or Enterprise Security Architect in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  
• Experience in the enterprise technology buying/evaluation process.
  
• Experience creating and delivering thought leadership and public speaking on technology or business topics.
  
• Experience in engaging with CISO, Risk and Compliance, and Data Protection Officers.
  
• Experience in cloud computing and cloud market, engaged dynamics, and customer buying behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Design security architecture view for digital transformation on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and in multi-cloud environments.
  
• Lead the security conversation in strategic sales opportunities, in partnership with Cloud principal architects and sales, to qualify business opportunities, identify customer technical objections and deliver business value. Identify opportunities for security product sales and define use cases and requirements with the customer.
• Develop strategic plans around security and privacy themes, establish project goals, coordinate resources, and provide leadership in line with long-term objectives.
• Deliver presentations, product demos and lead workshops on securing Google Cloud services and solutions for customers and prospects.
• Build and develop trusted advisor relationships within strategic accounts, engaging with Digital Transformation Leads, CISOs, Enterprise (Security) Architects, VP engineering, and other C-level leaders.
