TransUnion is seeking an Incident Response Forensics (IRF) Analyst to join our growing Global Incident Response team. The IRF Analyst tole is an internal and client support role with a focus on data security, privacy compliance, project management and document drafting. This person must have knowledge and experience of computer cybersecurity, security threats and frameworks, networks/systems, and project management. The ideal candidate should have at minimum, entry level knowledge of privacy compliance principles and requirements, and basic legal principles.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or legal field with technological experience preferred; exceptional related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- 1-3 years of experience with incident response, project management, and legal compliance experience preferred.
- Able to work flexible hours, conduct consultations and draft initial case documentation outside of banking hours.
- JD or Masters in Cyber Security a plus.
- CIPP or CISSP certification (or CISA with a focus on privacy and security) a plus.
- Well-developed communication and listening skills; able to analyze needs quickly and effectively.
- Highly professional verbal and visual presentation skills.
- Self-driven and able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Up to 10% travel.
- Additional language fluency is desirable.
Impact You'll Make:
- Manage assigned case load with minimal direct supervision.
- Manage customer and client expectations.
- Solve complex problems for case stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly to customer the services and support offered.
- Lead data collection for cases assigned.
- Assist in analysis breach containment, restoration and remediation services performed by the Incident Response and Forensics cybersecurity team.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service and expert assistance to clients and victims of a cyber incident/breach and/or fraud.
- Intake prospects and new clients to compile information needed to build a case/project regarding breach/cyber indent and/or fraud.
- Examine and analyze information to determine the severity of the incident.
- Exercises independent judgment in setting priorities to ensure that deadlines and due dates are met.
- Escalates and refers any incidents that require assistance from other internal departments, coordinates the discussions, meetings and updates.
- Records and details relevant case notes into database with strong attention to detail and accuracy of information in a timely manner.

Pay Scale Information :
The salary range for this position is $60,600.00 - $96,800.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
