We are searching for Oracle DBA who will Manage and maintain Oracle databases including troubleshooting, patching, configuring, solving

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases and features including troubleshooting, patching, configuring, solving incidents – all typical day to day duties
• On-call service for Oracle databases
• Collaboration in database-related projects

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• 4+ years operational experience with solutions for high availability and disaster recovery based on Oracle databases
• Good understanding of Oracle Database architecture, function and administration including special features like Real Application Cluster (RAC), DataGuard and Oracle Golden Gate.
• Good knowledge of Database security and security measures (Database Hardening).
  Ideally knowledge in the operational implementation of compliance guidelines according like PCIDSS and ISO27001
• Hands on expertise regarding all operational daily administration tasks as well
  performing software installations, upgrades, migrations and apply patches
• Performance tuning, performance management and capacity planning experience
• Ideally PL/SQL Skills
   

Technical comprehensive knowledge (Basics):

• Be familiar with the ITIL processes Incident, Problem, Change Management including tools e.g. Jira, ServiceNow
• OS skills on Unix/Linux and Windows
• Scripting on OS level
• Storage and backup technologies
• Network and firewall
