Cyber Security Specialist

Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Cyber Security Specialist to support  Inspection, Assessment, and Audit Operational Support (LOE9 of the project) to the JFHQ-DODIN Readiness and Security Inspection Directorate (DRSI).  Location: Fort Meade, MD.

 

Tasks include:

• Provide cybersecurity expertise to support various cybersecurity assessment programs
• Assist in development and maintenance of SOPs.
• Familiarity with conducting research and analysis.
• Develops detailed plans for the conduct or support of the applicable range of assessment operations through collaboration with planners, team leads, assessors, analysts, and operators.
• Ensure data is entered in assessment information environment to facilitate assessment execution. 

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years with BS/BA; may consider an additional 6 years  experience with no degree
• Familiar with conducting research and analysis
• Able to support the development of a Records Management Plan and a Task Status Summary and Tracking Report, and maintain the status
• Able to maintain and support the execution of a DODIN Inspection Schedule 
• Able to accurately enter data and findings in the assessment information environment to facilitate assessment execution
• Requires good written and verbal communicaton skills
• Requires attention to detail
• Current OR ability to obtain/maintain within 60 days of hire date DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification
• Active TS/SCI clearance

• Cloud Certification
• Solutions Architect
• Data Specialty

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
