Senior Project Manager

cFocus Software is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our program supporting IRS in Lanham, MD. This position requires an active Public Trust clearance and must meet 8570 requirements.
Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Active Public Trust clearance.
• 8570 Compliant (Security+ CE)
• 10+ years of project management experience in IT and systems integration, with a strong focus on requirements engineering and compliance frameworks.
• Expert understanding of NIST 800-63-3 and NIST 800-53 standards.
• Hold active certifications such as PMP, CISSP, and SAFe Agilist.

Duties:

• Responsible for leading the requirements integration and architecture support for IRS's eA3 IAM projects.
• Coordinate with various IRS departments including ES, AD, and Cybersecurity, providing expert-level guidance on engineering best practices, ensuring compliance with NIST and IRS standards, and supporting the development of digital identity solutions.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of engineering documents such as Vision, Scope, and Architecture (VSA), Simplified Design Specification Report (SDSR), and Interface Control Documents (ICD).
• Translate high-level requirements into detailed engineering requirements and Agile user stories, support architectural decision-making, organize stakeholder workshops, and manage the program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
