Sr. Endpoint Security Engineer

Title: Senior Endpoint Security Engineer

Job Summary:

Joining Chubb’s Security Endpoint Security Architecture team as a Security Engineer, you will be a key player in formulating, deploying, and upholding the security measures that protect our global company operations.

As an active member of our vibrant team, you will be committed to ensuring robust endpoint security, continuously evaluating, and assessing tools and solutions to meet the shifting requirements of business and security landscapes.

As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer team member, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's endpoints against emerging threats. 

 

In this role, you will:

• Research, evaluate, and provide recommendations regarding security tools and products that address business needs and security goals, ensuring suitability within our existing security and infrastructure.
• Develop proofs of concept and partner with peer engineering, technical, and stakeholder teams to obtain buy-in for new tools and solutions.
• Guide the deployment of security systems following corporate security policies and rules.
• Determine appropriate Endpoint controls to address and manage security risk. 
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, solution roadmaps, and presentation materials.
• Design and implement data protection controls for SaaS and third solutions. 
• Detect and address security concerns, incorrect configurations, and potential risks associated with existing tools and solutions across various platforms, such as Windows, Linux, and MACs.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills 

• At least 5 years of experience in a Security Engineering or related role with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Experience with one or more scripting languages, PowerShell, Python, KQL, etc. 
• Strong experience with endpoint anti-virus, EDR, and firewall security solutions
• Azure, AD, GPO, and Intune Experience
• Experience with VMs on VMWare ESX and NSX
• Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Cloud Hosted solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SASE)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
